Priorities for low-carbon transition

As part of the intellectual preparations for the politics of climate change conference, and to complement the publication of a pamphlet with this research initiative’s key themes and policy proposals, the project leaders Anthony Giddens and Roger Liddle invitied conference speakers and delegates to submit a bold and imaginative answer to the following question:

 “What is the biggest obstacle governments in industrialised economies have to overcome in achieving low-carbon transition and what action should they prioritise”
